Indie game marketplace itch.io is making it easier for users to filter out (i.e. totally ignore) titles that leverage generative AI technology.
In a post on Bluesky, the platform explained it has added generative AI disclosure filtering in areas where it was "critically lacking," including the search results page.
The news comes with itch outwardly pushing back against what the company has branded "AI slop."
