Approaches made: "We talked to 20+ publishers and funds and platforms. We initially did a round of pitches with multiple games to see if any of the ideas had any interest. Most folks seemed to like Thirsty Suitors pitch so we spent time putting together a playable prototype and repitched to possible partners that we thought would be a good fit for us as a team and the title. That initial multiple pitch testing to repitching with a playable took about six months."
Notes from the developer: "Thirsty Suitors was a departure from Falcon Age so we wanted to build out a section of the game to demonstrate the turn-based combat RPG themed around breakups and relationships. This was also for us as a team to figure out production, art direction, theme, writing, etc. We were expanding the team and figuring out what the game would be so the prototype was an informative and useful exercise."
