UK marketing agency Rune has launched a dedicated indie publishing label called Pythia Games.

Pythia's debut title, Hearth and Hamlet, has already sold 100,000 units since launching on August 19, 2026. The medieval city builder was developed by Phorust Studios and published by Pythia under its previous name, Runic Forge.

Rune said it now intends to work exclusively as a publisher, having previously garnered years of experience operating successful marketing and crowdfunding campaigns.

Pythia will be the face of those publishing efforts, and the nascent label has already signed multiple titles including idle dungeon-crawler Dragon's Tear and roguelike deckbuilder Carnholt.

"After years of experience in agency work, everyone here at Pythia Games is delighted to be starting this new chapter as a publisher," said Aidan McGrath, founder and marketing director at Pythia Games. "The team is united by a shared passion for discovering and elevating new and innovative indie games, and for supporting small teams and solo developers alike."

Pythia will provide "full-service publishing" covering marketing, QA and playtesting, localisation, release support, community building, and launch planning.

The label is offering prospective partners a 75 percent share of revenue with no recoup and is actively soliciting pitches.
