****Editors note: KEEP SCROLLING FOR THAT SWEET SWEET DISCOUNT**

I'm incredibly, deeply, ludicrously biased—but as the person who spent far too long agonising over how to price our subscription tiers, I think I found a pretty solid sweet spot.

For less than the price of a single cup of hot java per week (or a pint each month if you reside in London), you can secure access to daily news hits, incisive investigative work, vital long-reads, expert interviews, regular newsletters, esteemed commenting privileges, and so much more. All while knowing your hard-earned cash is supporting the future of video game industry trade journalism.

Still, I'd be fibbing if I said I haven't also been tinkering with Ghost's titillating discounting tools and eagerly awaiting the day I can holler the word "SALE" at the top of my lungs. [AWOLNATION eat your heart out](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgIqecROs5M&ref=verticalslice.news). Well, friends, that moment is finally here.

To commemorate the launch of Vertical Slice, the fearless independent (and, currently, self-financed) trade publication you're reading right now, we're offering you the chance to nab a monthly or yearly subscription at a whopping 33 percent discount. The offer will apply to our 'Supporter' tier, which would usually set you back (a still very reasonable) £7.45/month or £69.95/year.

We don't believe in upselling here at Vetical Slice. A 'Supporter' subscription will grant you access to everything we offer. All of our quality reporting. Regular newsletters packed with insight and charm. And, yes, those fabled commenting privileges I mentioned earlier.

These discounts will only be available for **ONE MONTH** so don't wait around. You can claim either the monthly or annual discount by hitting one of the two alluring buttons below.

****Supporter (Monthly) | 33% discount | Available until November 9, 2026**
